We are delighted to have acted for longstanding landowner clients in the marketing and sale of their development land amounting to 34 acres in Uttlesford District.
The land has outline planning permission for 160 houses with ancillary uses and notwithstanding economic uncertainty, this sale generated interest and competitive bids from national and regional developers. The landowners accepted an offer from Dandara to sell unconditionally with completion having taken place recently.
Note: Hawkspur had previously been appointed to find a promoter in 2020 and after a bidding process, Catesby was selected. It successfully secured planning permission some 2 years later via a promotion agreement, the commercial terms of which Hawkspur negotiated for the owners, in liaison with Tolhurst Fisher solicitors.
